Overall:
Blue Global Media, started by affiliates in 2006, is a hungry young company out of Scottsdale, Arizona that in our opinion is one of the strongest affiliate programs in the financials space such as payday loans. With excellent affiliate support, including affiliate training programs, BGM is a great affiliate program for newer affiliates who appreciate a little direction and a lot of simplicity. With easy-to-understand exclusive offers, and easy-to-understand per sale commission rates up to $100, the Blue Global Media affiliate program is in stark contrast to many other affiliate programs that make you work just to understand what you can earn from each sale. Blue Global Media markets payday loans and other financial products such as credit reports and credit card settlement services. In 2011, Blue Global Media was named to the Inc. Magazine list of "500 Fastest-Growing Companies."
Ease of Use:
If you are just starting out in affiliate marketing and have traffic coming to your website of people that need money, then you will want to take a look at the affiliate offers from Blue Global Media. They give you some nicely optimized landing pages, simple and compelling offers, and easy tracking of which offers are performing best. This company was started by affiliates, and you can see that they are really making it a point to cater to newer affiliates with their easy-to-use suite of affiliate tools.
Reputation/Security:
Whenever a company is touting the fact that it is included in the Inc. 500, you can assume that this company is pretty small and new, and this is the case with Blue Global Media. Founded in 2006, Blue Global Media is not Amazon.com, as of this writing they have 35 employees total. However, BGM did grow revenues by a staggering 1,683 percent in 2011, and the company is earning high marks from the affiliates that are joining this program thanks to their generous commission rates and highly-responsive customer service. Moreover, Blue Global Media has made the necessary investments in technology to be up to speed in privacy and security.
Customer Service:
Remember the theme song from that show "Cheers" with the line "where everybody knows your name"? Well, Blue Global Media isn't quite that personal, but they are more focused on the personal needs of each and every affiliate than almost any affiliate program on the Web today. Maybe this relentless focus on giving great affiliate support will fade as Blue Global Media continues to grow, but hopefully not. As noted, this company was started by affiliates, and they seem to remember where they came from and respect the needs of all affiliates, not just the top one percent. If you are an affiliate looking for ways to maximize your earnings, you should definitely check out some of the training seminars that Blue Global Media offers, these are very informative.
Commission Rate:
Blue Global Media pays solid commissions on its main product line, payday / online short-term loans. For example, the hottest affiliate product currently on the BGM list is company-owned 100DayLoans.com, a well-known bad credit unsecured loan. Commission Junction also allows affiliates to promote this popular loan site, but Blue Global Media pays more, at $100 per premium lead. With so many people suffering terrible credit ratings and little to no trust of conventional banks, online unsecured loans will continue to be a growth industry and as a Blue Global Media affiliate you can capitalize on this growth at a rate of $100 per lead.
Ease of Commission Payment:
True to its brand as an extraordinarily affiliate-friendly program, Blue Global Media has no payment minimum restriction if you accept your commission payment through PayPal, but the problem with that is that PayPal charges the transaction fee (it's PayPal's fee, not BGM's). Call us cheap but we don't like paying transaction fees if we can avoid them. Blue Global Media does provide payment by check, too, with a low $10 minimum. Blue Global Media has recently added a wire transfer payment method, and that will be very welcome among the super-affiliates. Payments are sent out once per month.
