Globat got our attention with its big flashing promise of a $200 commission per sale. Because web hosting is the classic product that people buy online, the idea that we should receive $200 every time we send them a customer was a great idea. Of course, there is a bit of fine print, but it's not bad. You need to generate 10 sales per month for a year to enter the "President's Club," which pays the full $200. They pay every two weeks, too.
Ease of Use: 
Globat qualifies as easy to use, but is not as simple for beginners as some other programs. This is mainly because Globat boasts a powerful array of features, aimed at turning you into a high-producing affiliate partner and rewarding you for efforts towards that. All the tools are here to grow your business, including real-time click and sales reporting, custom link tracking, and quality banners. Spend some time getting familiar. It pays off.
Reputation/Security:
Founded in 2001, Globat's approach is based upon transparency and trust, especially towards their affiliate partners. Just as important, their product is quality and affordable ($4.44 per month for the basic package) and frequently bought online, so your ads should get clicks. When you go to their website, make sure to read up on their executive team, which is populated by Internet veterans. Bottom line: you want to be in business with these people.
Customer Service:
The Globat customer service department is extremely responsive. They are reachable by phone and have a special email address only for affiliates. Their affiliate program managers are actually much better than their regular techs, who have taken some abuse on various blog forums from unhappy customers. Once you become a member of the President's Club (10 sales or more per month for one year), you are granted access to a private 800 number.
Commission Rate: 
Globat doesn't do a lot of mainstream advertising like some of their competitors, so they rely heavily on affiliates for sales. It's working and we can see why. Globat values its affiliate partners not just with words but with cold hard cash. Their new "GloFlex" program is one of the best affiliate programs we've ever seen in terms of commission rates. They pay $65 per sale for the first two sales of the month, and then $100 for each sale thereafter. But once you hit 10 sales per month for a year, you're in the President's Club, and you get paid $200 for every single sale. That's outstanding, the type of number that can lead to a long-term relationship.
Ease of Commission Payment:
Globat pays every two weeks. You can choose to receive a paper check by mail, or PayPal. If you are located inside the United States, they will ask you to fill out a W-9 form before receiving any commissions, for tax reporting purposes. But once you do that, you're off to the races, every two weeks. Kind of like a regular job, but without the annoying coworkers.
