Overall: 
HostRocket is a well-run web hosting company with a well-run affiliate program. Their customer service is superior and their product is affordable, so you can feel confident sending customers their way. More importantly, HostRocket outperforms their competition when it comes to paying affiliate commissions. They give you $75 per sale to start and it goes up from there, depending on volume. The top level is $150 per sale, which is outstanding.
Ease of Use: 
If it seems like HostRocket's affiliate interface is similar to MochaHost's, that's because it was created by the same web design firm. You will notice the same simple, intuitive feel, with the same powerful data analysis tools underneath. However, HostRocket has added many custom configurations behind the scenes, and not all of these are conducive to an automatically easy user experience. Part of the problem is that they have so many product offerings--which is a good problem to have, now that we think of it, if you're selling their products.
Reputation/Security: 
Located in upstate New York, HostRocket has been rocking it since 1999. Over the years, they have grown consistently and rapidly, and now host approximately 50,000 websites. Their hosting packages, which range widely from the basic ($4.99 per month) to very high-end, are consistently ranked at or near the top of the industry. Also note: HostRocket sells not only hosting but various add-ons, such as web design and logo design. This gives affiliates more products to sell, which is appealing when you look at HostRocket's commission rates.
Customer Service:
The customer service for HostRocket affiliate members is outstanding, far better than many of their competitors. Whether you contact them by phone or email, they really do treat you as a business partner. They have a dedicated affiliate management team, for example, instead of running affiliate support through the general customer support division, like some outfits do.
Commission Rate:
The HostRocket affiliate program definitely puts its money where its mouth is. Their math is highly compelling. They pay $75 per sale for the first 10 sales of the month, $95 per sale for the next 10, $115 per sale for the 10 after that, and then $150 for every sale over 30. That means that if you send them one sale per day for a month, you make $4,650 per month. They also pay 10% for second tier sales, for sales generated by other webmasters you refer. They also offer special commission rates and bonuses to consistently high producers, on a case-by-case basis. In other words, played right, the HostRocket affiliate program can produce lifelong income.
Ease of Commission Payment: 
Payments go out automatically on the 15th of every month. One catch, which costs them a full star even though it's probably not all their fault: your first check can be a while in coming, up to 60 days. HostRocket, as an organization, is very vigilant about preventing fraud before it happens. Understandable and commendable, but we just don't like waiting.
