Overall: 
The InMotion affiliate program is characterized by an easy-to-use interface with real-time tracking of all the stats affiliates need to watch. As a company, InMotion benefits from a terrific reputation for quality products and superior customer service. They are consistently highly-reviewed by tech publications. As an affiliate, this can help you sell more products. However, their commission structure could be improved, we think. Namely, pay affiliates more please.
Ease of Use: 
InMotion keeps things simple without sacrificing important data analysis tools. You can see how many visitors clicked on your ads and how many of those clicks resulted in sales, and the data is broken down by the day. You can run monthly reports and study your click-to-sale ratio and traffic patterns. All stats are real-time. Their ads are also extremely simple to install.
Reputation/Security:
This company has a spotless reputation, both in terms of its web hosting products and its affiliate program. No scams here. And they ask the same in return: they're strict about "self sign ups," where affiliates sign up various accounts through their own ads to receive extra commission. In business since 2001, InMotion is an employee-owned enterprise, and highly rated by the Better Business Bureau. Everything on their site is SSL-encrypted to prevent any funny business from the hacker crowd.
Customer Service:
We call them on Sundays. They answer. We respect that. Not only do they answer, though, because any ape can do that--they actually know what they're talking about. Their support staff averages four years web hosting experience and many staffers have ten years experience or more. Remember: InMotion is employee-owned, so they retain employees much better than your average Internet company. That matters. They also respond to emails in a timely fashion.
Commission Rate:
InMotion offers "some of the highest commissions in the industry." But not the highest. Personally, we prefer the highest. InMotion pays $50 per sale for the first two sales per month, and then $100 for every sale after that. Once you hit 10 sales per month, you qualify to become a "Power Affiliate," and receive special treatment. When you hit that level, make sure to call their affiliate manager and negotiate a higher commission. Also note: in order to qualify for a commission, a purchase must be projected to amount to at least $83.40 over the course of one year (the cost of a full year subscription). This can be frustrating if customers you send them consistently buy small things, like domain names or short-term web hosting accounts.
Ease of Commission Payment: 
They pay once per month. Other programs pay every two weeks. Again, InMotion's stellar reputation counts for something, but we still prefer to get paid more frequently rather than less, if it's all the same to you. However, at least you don't have to worry about getting paid at all, as with some of these shadier operators. You can take payment via check, wire transfer, or PayPal.
